But, I realized that this was actually the perfect recipe for the Instant Pot because I could make it all in ONE pot without having to dirty multiple pans, which is essentially my favorite feature of the Instant Pot. Instructions Put Instant Pot on saute low and add olive oil, chicken cut into spoon sized chunks, celery, onions, and carrots. I actually started out making this recipe on the stovetop, which is definitely an option if you don’t have an Instant Pot or a pressure cooker. And when it comes to comfort food, it really doesn’t get any better than this Instant Pot Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup! I know it’s basically summertime now and we’re all looking more towards grilling recipes and fresh salads (like Cucumber Greek Salad, Yum! ?) but I still enjoy cooking up a big pot of soup or chili during the summer time. I’m a big fan of soups, no matter what time of year it is. Add the chicken back in, along with the egg noodles. Put the carrots, celery, onions back into the slow cooker and add in about 4 cups of the chicken broth. While chicken is cooking, prepare the dumplings by mixing flour, baking powder, salt, and milk until combined. Use the manual setting to select a 3 minute cook time at high pressure. Add in the flour and cook another 2-3 minutes. Place lid onto Instant Pot and set vent to the sealed position. This Instant Pot Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup is easy to prepare and tastes like you slaved over it all day! It’s comforting, delicious, and comes together quickly (and in one pot!) thanks to your pressure cooker. Sauté the carrots, celery, onion in the butter for about 5 minutes in a sauté pan on the stove. Close your pressure cooker lid and steam valve and set to high pressure for 2 minutes.
